What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our, website and/or blog?
When making a tour reservation on our site, where appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other details to assist us in processing a tour booking or your request to receive our monthly email newsletter.
When do we collect information?
We collect information from you when you make a tour reservation, subscribe to our newsletter or you elect to enter information on our site (e.g. fill-out the Contact Us form and/or use our Chat functionality).
How do we use your information?
We may use the information we collect from you to reserve your and/or your group’s space on the tour(s) you’ve requested via our website, upon your request we enroll you to receive our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, to manage sessions while you surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:
- To quickly process your transactions.
- To send periodic emails regarding your order or other news and/or information about our work.
How do we protect visitor information?
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all communications with our web servers, including sensitive/credit information you supply, is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
We implement a variety of security measures when a user places a tour booking, and/or submits their information so as to maintain the safety of your personal information.
All monetary transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

We may also release information when it’s release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety.
However, non-personally identifiable visitor information (e.g. traffic data, click data, etc.) may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

How does our site handle do not track signals?
Our site does not honor do not track signals. We do not honor them because our eCommerce functionality would not function without cookies and related technologies.
We collect your email address in order to:
- Send information, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions.
- Process tour bookings/registrations and/or event registrations to send information and updates pertaining to tour bookings/registrations and/or event registrations.
- Market to our mailing list or continue to send emails to our opt in subscribers after the original transaction has occurred.

We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.
